This website contains descriptions and photographs of Scottish iron and steel works.It concentrates mainly on those that existed within the Colvilles group and on into British Steel and Corus.
It contains most on the two remaining steel works which still survive in Scotland - Dalzell and Clydebridge. Dalzell is the works David Colville started, in 1871, and it is still rolling hot steel today.
